Great Plant Picks (GPP) is an educational program of the Elisabeth C. Miller Botanical Garden which debuted in 2001 with the first recommendations for a comprehensive palette of outstanding plants for the maritime Pacific Northwest. To date over 900 exceptional plants have been selected for gardeners living west of the Cascade Mountains from Eugene, Oregon, USA to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Visit the GPP booth at the Yard, Garden, & Patio Show, February 27 – March 1, 2015. Celebrate the best of outdoor living with inviting Showcase Gardens, free garden seminars, outdoor cooking classes, a seasonal display of blooms, plants & gifts for sale, and much, much more at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. The festivities begin in late winter with spring just around the corner so stop by for your free GPP poster while you peruse all that YGP has to offer! For more information go to www.ygpshow.com.
The “Celebrate Spring” poster will be available for free (pictured above right) at the Northwest Flower & Garden Show and Yard, Garden, & Patio Show in February (see dates above). Posters will also be available by mail beginning March 9th; they will be free except we request reimbursement for postage & handling.
