Culture NotesThis shrub rose flowers best in full sun with rich well-drained or sandy soil. It is a heavy feeder and benefits from a regular application of fertilizer. Provide regular watering during dry weather to encourage lush growth and repeat flowering. It can be lightly pruned in the late fall or early winter to protect from winter wind damage. Major pruning to develop the shape of the plant should be done in early spring when the leaves are beginning to show green. It has good disease resistance.
