Euonymus fortunei ‘Emerald Gaiety’
Emerald Gaiety wintercreeper
© Richie Steffen - Great Plant Picks
The small evergreen leaves of this densely branched shrub are splashed a whimsical emerald green and snow white which brightens any shady spot, but especially dry woodland shade. In winter the foliage can be overlaid with a veneer of pink. The habit of ‘Emerald Gaiety’ is spreading in all directions from a central base becoming mounded or rounded. Placed near a wall or tree trunk the branches will clamber up somewhat, but don’t adhere or reach much more than five feet on its own.
