Outstanding Qualities

This cultivar was selected for its consistent symmetry and columnar form plus it matures somewhat smaller than the species at about 30 to 40 feet (9 – 12m). The bright green to blue-green coniferous foliage looks attractive year-round and generally develops less of a bronze tint in winter than typical which some prefer. Over time the bark will bring an attractive textural quality and develop a reddish brown color.
