Culture Notes
These floriferous perennials grow best in full sun to light or open shade. Geums do not like hot locations so avoid sites with blazing afternoon sun. They will tolerate most garden soils, but do require good drainage. They need regular watering during dry periods. After the first large flush of flowering is done in early summer the plant can be cut to the ground and allowed to regrow for continued summer bloom.
